The Affiliated Stare Enterprise (DGP) "The Kazakhstan Testing Service"

·          "The Kazakhstan testing service" Affiliated Stare Enterprise (DGP)  (hereinafter referred to as DGP KazPS) was created according to the Governmental order # 904 from 08.09.2005 of the Republic of Kazakhstan

·          DGP KazPS is registered at the RK Ministry of Justice on 17.01.2006 (the certificate of registration # 21395-1901-GP).

·          The name: "Kazakhstan testing service" is "Kazakhstan institute of metrology (KazInMetr)" the Republican State Enterprise's Affiliated State Enterprise with the right of economic conducting of the Committee on Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

·          DGP KazPS carries out the following functions:

1. Carries out checking and calibration of measuring apparatuses.

2. Takes part in works on entering of measuring apparatuses through metrological certification, into the register of State Measurement System (SMS) of the RК, tests measuring apparatuses.

3. Improve the technical (testing) base.

4. Takes part in carrying out of metrological examination of checking techniques, techniques measurements on conformity to normative document in the measurements field.

5. Participates in applied scientific researches in the field of metrology.

6. Participates in developing of legal standard certificates and normative document in the field of maintenance of measurements unity.

7. Performs certification of the test equipment.

8. Carries out the organization of seminars, courses in the field of maintenance of unity of measurements.

·          KazPS has expanded accreditation area on the following kinds of checkings:

The basic directions of DGP KazPS activity:

·          Carrying out of checking of the measuring apparatuses applied at the control of the environment conditions, at works on maintenance of citizen’s health protection, in trading-commercial operations and calculations between the suppliers and the consumers;

·          Carrying out of an estimation of measurements condition in measuring and calibrating laboratories;

·          Developing of checking techniques, measurement methods, programs of metrological certification;

·          Carrying out of professional development courses.
