Metrological certification of SI

Metrological certification is carried out according to ST RK 2.30-2007 "The performance order of metrological measuring apparatuses certification" requirements.

The measuring apparatuses imported or made at the territory of the Republic in individual copies (no more than three measuring apparatuses for one applicant within a year) and applied in sphere of realization state metrological control are subject to metrological certification, including:

·          The measuring channels entering into systems of the automated control, management and other systems (complexes);

·          The standards made and delivered into the Republic in individual copies;

·          Individual copies of measuring apparatuses of the serial release, applied in conditions and the modes differing from conditions and modes, for which their metrological and technical characteristics are normalized  or to which changes of design influenced to the characteristics;

·          Individual copies of measuring apparatuses of serial release for which individual metrological characteristics are established.

Measuring apparatus are represented on metrological certification by the state control bodies, persons and legal bodies, users (suppliers of measuring apparatuses).

Order of carrying out of measuring apparatuses metrological certification

The measuring apparatuses made in the Republic of Kazakhstan, are represented on metrological certification to the State Scientific Metrological Centre (GNMTS) with the following documents:

·          The application for carrying out of measuring apparatuses metrological certification;

·          The technical project on working out of measuring apparatus or the document replacing it, containing requirements to a measuring apparatus and specifications (if their development is specified);

·          Operational documents (in the volume provided for the technical project);

·          The project of the program of measuring apparatus metrological certification;

·          The project on a checking technique of a measuring apparatus (in the absence of a checking technique in operational documents);

·          Reports of the preliminary researches (tests) carried out by the developer if those have been provided by the technical project.

To provide the testing of measuring channels entering into systems of the automated control, management and other systems (complexes), additionally the following documents are represented;

·          Technical documentation on system (complex);

·          The list of the measuring channels which are subject of metrological certification, the certificate on metrological certification or the documents confirming checking of measuring apparatuses, being components of the measuring channel.

For installations testing represented on metrological certification, certificates on checking or metrological certification of working standards, the measuring apparatuses entering into their structure are represented additionally.

The program of metrological certification and checking technique is developed by the developer of a measuring apparatus or its user (supplier) and affirms by GNMTS. It is supposed the program of metrological certification and the document on a checking technique of measuring apparatus is to develop by GNMTS on a contractual basis, instead of the project on a checking technique of measuring apparatus to represent operating documents on checking in foreign countries ".
